David first visited the Greater Yellowstone Region in 1969 with his family on a two-week classic car camping trip. This started an annual family tradition of extended summer vacations exploring the National Park System. Over the years David has visited many of the countries parks and wilderness areas. This early exposure and a strong interest in science led to a degree in Biology. In 1989 David moved to Jackson, WY for the winter season. Twenty years later he still finds himself stuck in “The Hole” and loving it. David takes full advantage of the unique recreational opportunities that Jackson Hole and the Greater Yellowstone region provide. In the winter he is a full time Ski Instructor at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and a volunteer Ski Patroller at Snow King Mountain. In the summer he is an avid kayaker, rafter, and fly fisherman as well as a guide for VIP Adventure Travel. David loves to share his knowledge of the unique geology and ecology of this spectacular region with his tour guests.
