For the past 30 years, with camera in hand, Scott has sought out the most dramatic, compelling scenes throughout the West. His purpose is to instill a sense of wonder and respect for the world around us. Published worldwide in the pages of National Geographic, National Wildlife, Ranger Rick, Sports Afield and Outdoor Life Magazines, Scott is an ardent professional. For three years, he has been honored by the BBC’s “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” competition – the most prestigious competition of its kind with more than 32,000 submissions from 78 countries. Photos from the 150 honorees are published in a book each year. He has also worked in documentary television for National Geographic, ABC-KANE, and with PBS’s “Nature” as a cameraman for a one hour documentary on the Grizzly Bears of Yellowstone National Park entitled “The Good, the Bad and the Grizzly.” In 2003 Scott was awarded the Grand Prize at the International Wildlife Film Festival for music video category.
